A courtyard and landscape design for the new History center on the capital Grounds in St. Paul.  The commission was awarded through an international competition.  The landscape and colonnade combine to represent the old Summit Avenue which ran directly through the site prior to building the new museum.  In combination with the museum staff and community, randomly selected Minnesotans gave their physical and historical profiles to be incorporated in the final work.
