Christakos Cabin

This cabin for John Christakos, president of a furniture design and manufacturing company, is located on Lower Kimball Lake near Minong, Wisconsin.  The cabin was designed with a main living and sleeping quarters and a separate bunkhouse.  The two areas are connected by a covered gathering area with a built in fire pit.  The exterior is clad in cor-ten steel.  The interior has fir floors and walls with floor to ceiling glass positioned to take advantage of the views.
